How To Join Us

CADETS

(Must be between the ages of 12 and 18 years old in order to become a cadet)

First, you must attend 3 consecutive meetings at our squadron, they begin at 1630 hrs (6:30pm) every Tuesday.

Meeting 1 will consist of getting a "Permission to Attend" form signed by your parent or guardian, and just observing our meeting.

Meeting 2 will be more hands on, and a staff member will explain a thorough run through of the Cadet Program. We'll answer any questions you might have, and send you home with a packet of documents to fill out.

Meeting 3 will be the day you meet the Squadron staff including our Commander. You will be interviewed by a staff member in order to find out your goals for this program.  Your application will be reviewed and signed this day.

Second, we will email you the registration to process your application online through the National website.

OR mail your completed application (CAP Form 15) and annual dues ($40 made out to Civil Air Patrol) to:

Lastly, report at the next squadron meeting once you've received your Civil Air Patrol ID number (CAPID).  

Congrats, you are a new cadet member of our squadron. 

SENIOR MEMBERS

(Minimum age requirement is 18 years of age)

First, you must attend 3 consecutive meeting at our squadron, they begin at 1830 hrs (6:30pm) every Tuesday.

Then, mail your completed application (CAP Form 12), one fingerprint card and annual dues ($79 made out to Civil Air Patrol) to:

OR fax your application to: (334) 953-7771. Then call the following day (877) 227-9142 ext. 201 to verify they received your application, and pay your dues with a credit/debit card over the phone.  Remember, National HQ is on East Coast Time Zone, so calls in the morning are best.

Lastly, report at the next squadron meeting once you've received your Civil Air Patrol ID number (CAPID).
